| | 3 years ago Posted on: 17 / Mar / 2010 | I was mucking around with a few old apps, and came across some LCD/Game and watch type games.
they are simple in design, use either 2 buttons to move left or right, or 4 directional movement.
theres not a lot more to them.
some examples of LCD game and watch games are:
A juggling game. Move the man's arms left or right to catch the juggling balls. In game A there are 2 balls, 3 in game B. Easy at first but get's faster and harder. Drop the ball once and it's all over!
People walk along the street but the manholes have no covers. You must move about in the sewers to cover up the holes and stop the people falling down
what i was thinking was, how or what would be a modern day game, be like to be made into a LCD game of this genre.. ( yes a DEMAKE )
eg:
dragons lair could work to a degree.
doom?
mirrors edge?
what do you think? and how would you make it a 2 or 4 button game?

| | 3 years ago Posted on: 17 / Mar / 2010 | A comedy one would be Guitar Hero (i.e. it would be really silly having only two buttons, two noises and obviously the scrolling limited by the LCD nature).
Or you could make an LCD version of Shootout! and dress it up like Gears of War or something  | | You look a little like coffee, and you taste a little like me. | |
