Rules

The theme of the "Acoders Indie Game Making Competition 2004" is time, and time manipulation. This could range from collecting pieces of a clock, a period in history, time travel or even "Matrix" style time compression.

A submitted entry must adhere to all of the bullet points below. Any game not following the rules, will instantly be disqualified.



Your game must use the theme of "time".

A game with just a "level timer" does not count. .

Games must be compatible with a PC running Windows 98 and higher. .

One entry per team or individual.

Entries must not contain media (Art & sound) that they do not own the rights to use. Library media (art, sound, etc.) is allowed, as long as you own the license to use them.

No commerical projects / games allowed. .

Submitted entry, must be in a .zip , .rar , .ace or .tar archive format.

The final submitted filesize must not exceed 15 Megabytes.

All entries must include all of the libraries and runtime components needed to run, and must not rely on development environments such as Microsoft's .Net. Any such libraries must be included within the 15Mb file size limit.

Only games started after the official competition start date, will be accepted.

Upon executing, a game must display one of the supplied logos with a link to http://www.acoders.com.

Acoders team members may not enter. .
